Thankful Thursday

I have been a bit neglectful of Thankful Thursdays these last few weeks...sorry about that.  The days just run into weeks, and when it's weekend, I remember I never did the post...


Okay, so, what am I thankful for this week...??


Well, honestly it's been a bit of a depressing week for our family...


Our holiday plans did not work out.  We had been planning and hoping and imagining and and and...all the nice things that go with holiday...  So when it did not work out we where really feeling low...  But, we serve an all knowing God!  And this is what I am thankful for...knowing that for reasons only He knows, the plans did not work out.  And I know that He knows best.  He has our best interests at heart.  So, although we are feeling dissapointed, we can trust in His judgement and know that there is a reason for it all.  We don't always need to know why (altough we would love to) but we just need to trust that He is in charge and He will work things out for us.


So thankful for an all knowing God we serve...
