The 5 Love Languages

So how many of you did the personality evaluation that Mrs Luna sent us?
I did, still trying to get my husband to do it also...but so far he has been to busy.
Was there any surprises for you?  Mine was pretty much what I expected.

So, following on from the email I sent you with the presentation from Mrs Luna, let us look at another angle of different personalities and how that makes us 'tick'.

A book that both my husband and I read recently is "The 5 Love Languages".  I can highly recommend this book. Here is a description of the book taken from their website:

Falling in love is easy. Maintaining healthy relationships is a daily, lifelong pursuit. But it doesn’t have to be that hard. Once you know your “love language,” you’ll understand why some attempts at romance work while others fall flat. Dr. Gary Chapman’s perennial New York Times bestseller, The 5 Love Languages® is full of “Aha!” moments that make expressing love easier and more desirable. You’ll find yourself more motivated and more confident that you can succeed in having the relationships you’ve always wanted. More than seven million copies sold!

Have a look at the website: http://www.5lovelanguages.com/
Also, I encourage you to take the test to see which of the 5 love languages you are the strongest in.  Here there might be a few surprises.  You will see the link for the test on the home page "Discover your love language"

Also, very important, get your spouse to do the test also!!  This will help you understand them and their actions so much better.

I would really love to hear back from you guys as to what love language is your strongest.  Mine is quality time.  I did this test with my daughter also, and discovered hers is quality time - quality conversation.  I had not realised that before.  I had made a big difference in the way I 'listen' to her!

May you all have a very blessed weekend!
