Another friend of mine is moving away...the joys of expat living...
Today we attended her son's graduation from grade 8. As I was sitting there, I was thinking back over the time that we have known each other. I was feeling sad that my friend is about to leave, but I was also very thankful that the Lord placed her on my path for these few years.
She has been an inspiration to me. Always smiling, with a twinkle in her eye. Always supportive, always encouraging, always there with advise and a funny story.
Once again, I am reminded just how precious our friends can be. And if you know them for only a short time, or for many years, they can still make a big impact on your life.
