What I like about living in Myanmar...

By Susie Sein

Since it is my country, of course I love to live in it.
I like the culture of this country because the culture teaches to be polite, well-behaved and gentle.  The people are closely tied and help each other or care about each other.
The country has not well developed so there are less temptation.  People are more closer to God because of hardships, difficulties and not many places to go or not much things to do.
We have Prayer Meetings on Wednesday, Vesper Service on Friday, Sabbath School program, Divine Service and Adventist Youth program on the whole Sabbath day until 6:00 pm.
We have Youth Week of Prayer and Senior Week of Prayer every year.
We have Health Emphasis week the whole week.
We can go to church and hear about God's Word and we draw nearer to God so I like it very much.
There are some forbidden things in the TV in our country and we couldn't watch it and that is good too.
I also like the food of this country which can't be gotten from others.  I really enjoy eating the Burmese food.
Since the living standard of this country is low, we don't have to strive or struggle for it.  We can live a simple life which I like to live.
I feel like we draw nearer to God in living here.
